Redeeming Dawn
Skyler, The Duke of Dawnshire, was a trusted ally for the Shadow King. He would do what ever was in his own best interest, and displeasing the Shadow King was not often in his best interest. When the Shadow King asks Skyler to end his wife, Alexandra's, life he takes the moment to reflet on his choices. In that moment he figures it might be time he did something for the woman he loves, rather then himself.
